O turismo cultural em contexto museológico : relatório de estágio no Museu Cargaleiro

Abstract

Este relatório resulta do estágio curricular realizado no Museu Cargaleiro, em Castelo Branco, no âmbito da licenciatura em Turismo da Escola Superior de Gestão de Idanha-a-Nova, pertencente ao Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco. O estágio teve como principal objetivo aplicar, em contexto real, os conhecimentos adquiridos ao longo do curso, permitindo um contacto direto com o turismo cultural e patrimonial. A experiência possibilitou conhecer o funcionamento de um museu, lidar com diferentes tipos de público e aprofundar o estudo da vida e obra de Manuel Cargaleiro. Contribuiu ainda para o desenvolvimento de competências técnicas e pessoais, ajudando a identificar aspetos a melhorar e reforçando o interesse por uma carreira ligada ao património e ao turismo cultural. ABSTRACT: This report presents the curricular internships carried out at the Cargaleiro Museum, in Castelo Branco, as part of the Tourism degree at the Idanha-a-Nova Management School, under the Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute. The objective of the internship was to apply, in a real context, the knowledge acquired during the course, allowing direct contact with cultural and heritage tourism. The experience made it possible to learn about the daily functioning of a museum, interact with different types of visitors and deepen the knowledge of the life and work of Manuel Cargaleiro. It also contributed to the development of technical and personal skills, helping to identify areas for improvement and reinforcing the interest in pursuing a career linked to cultural and heritage tourism.
