Abstract

Este projeto visa desmistificar o Pole Dance, uma prática que evoluiu para além de estigmas históricos, tornando-se numa forma respeitável de expressão artística e exercício físico. Diante do desconhecimento persistente e da falta de acesso a roupas especializadas em Portugal, a proposta é criar uma coleção cápsula de Pole Dance. Esta iniciativa não apenas atenderá às necessidades atuais dos praticantes, mas também abordará estereótipos, promovendo a inclusão, e fortalecendo a indústria têxtil nacional. A coleção será adaptada para diversos tamanhos e estilos, procurando promover a confiança dos praticantes, preenchendo uma lacuna no mercado e contribuindo para o crescimento da comunidade de Pole Dance em Portugal. Abstract : This project aims to demystify Pole Dance, a practice that has evolved beyond historical stigmas, becoming a respectable form of artistic expression and physical exercise. Given the persistent lack of knowledge and lack of access to specialized clothing in Portugal, the proposal is to create a Pole Dance capsule collection. This initiative will not only meet the current needs of practitioners, but will also address stereotypes, promoting inclusivity and strengthening the national textile industry. The collection will be adapted to different sizes and styles, seeking to promote the confidence of practitioners, filling a gap in the market and contributing to the growth of the Pole Dance community in Portugal.
