Remodelação do Hotel Rural Casa de S. Pedro, Castelo de Paiva

Abstract

O presente documento, consiste da apresentação de todo o trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Projeto de Design de Interiores e Equipamento, lecionada no 3º Ano, no 2º Semestre da Licenciatura de Design Interiores e Equipamento de Projeto Final, para finalizar o 3º Ano da Licenciatura em Design de Interiores e Equipamento, na Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco. O Projeto consiste na remodelação de um estabelecimento hoteleiro, sendo o mesmo, o hotel Rural Casa de S.Pedro, localizado no concelho de Castelo de Paiva, no distrito de Aveiro. Para além da oferta de hospedagem, o hotel possui espaços tanto interiores como ao ar livre, para a realização de atividades célebres e desportivas, tornando-o um estabelecimento polivalente, estando próximo dos turistas, bem como da população da região. O hotel situa-se no centro de um local rico em valores culturais, onde o mesmo acaba por passar despercebido quanto a isso. O objetivo é criar uma nova identidade ao Hotel, de maneira a refletir e a exaltar os valores regionais, com o propósito de enriquecer a experiência dos utilizadores ao conhecer a Vila de Castelo de Paiva. Para além desta necessidade, existe uma falta de adaptação em termos de acessibilidade. O hotel não está adaptado para receber pessoas de mobilidade reduzida, o que acaba por agravar a disponibilidade e a oferta dos seus serviços, onde acaba por ser um problema a ser resolvido no Projeto. O turismo é para todos, onde o setor deve responder às várias necessidades dos utilizadores.

Abstract : This document consists of the presentation of all the work developed within the scope of the Project Curricular Unit, taught in the 3rd Year, in the 2nd Semester of the Degree in Interior Design and Equipment of Final Project, to conclude the 3rd Year of the Degree in Interior Design and Equipment, at the Higher School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. Within the scope of the Project Curricular Unit, taught in the 3rd Year, 1st Semester of the Degree in Interior Design and Equipment, it was proposed to carry out the Final Project which would address the aspect of Interior Design or Equipment. My choice reflected on the Interior Design aspect, however, an equipment focused on a duly selected space will be carried out. The Project consists of the renovation of a hotel establishment, namely the Rural Hotel Casa de S.Pedro, located in the municipality of Castelo de Paiva, in the district of Aveiro. In addition to offering accommodation, the hotel has indoor and outdoor spaces for hosting famous sports and activities, making it a multipurpose establishment, close to both tourists and the local population. The hotel is located in the center of a place rich in cultural values, where it often goes unnoticed. The goal is to create a new identity for the hotel, in order to reflect and value regional values, with the purpose of enriching the experience of users when visiting the village of Castelo de Paiva. In addition to this need, there is a lack of adaptation in terms of accessibility. The hotel is not adapted to receive people with reduced mobility, which ends up worsening the availability and supply of its services, which ends up being a problem to be solved in the Project. Tourism is for everyone, and the sector must respond to the diverse needs of users.
