Coleção de Swimwear : Swimwear inspirado em roupa desportiva

Abstract

Ao longo dos últimos anos, o mercado de swimwear português teve uma grande evolução. Novas marcas, com inovadores conceitos e designs, impulsionaram o mercado e a confeção portuguesa. O meu projeto, tal como as marcas portuguesas que vieram antes de mim, vem propor mais um conceito. A coleção de swimwear que eu proponho, tem como inspiração a roupa desportiva, de forma a trazer mais perto os dois mundos e os benefícios de ambos. A pesquisa é o primeiro passo, fundamental, para iniciar qualquer projeto. Comecei pela história das peças de banho, as tipologias de diferentes fatos de banho, os materiais que se usam, evoluções tecnológicas na área têxtil que pode ser aplicada a swimwear, tipologias de sutiãs desportivos e as suas funções, tecidos para esta categoria, a junção de swimwear e sportswear, tabela de tamanhos, sustentabilidade na moda e um estudo do mercado. Já no processo criativo, foram explorados painéis para a coleção, diferentes esboços, seleção final e finalmente a sua modelagem.

Abstract : Over the last few years, the Portuguese swimwear market has undergone great evolution. New brands, with innovative concepts and designs, boosted the market and Portuguese clothing. My project, like the Portuguese brands that came before me, proposes yet another concept. The swimwear collection I propose is inspired by sportswear, in order to bring both worlds and the benefits of both closer together. Research is a fundamental first step to starting any project. I started with the history of swimwear, the types of different swimwear that already exist, the materials that are used, technological developments in the textile area that can be applied to swimwear, types of sports bras and their functions, fabrics for this category , the combination of swimwear and sportswear, size chart, sustainability in fashion and a market study. In the creative process, panels for the collection, different sketches, final selection and finally their modeling were explored.
