Abstract
Este relatório aborda as atividades realizadas no âmbito do estágio curricular da licenciatura de Enfermagem Veterinária, no Hospital Veterinário de Coimbra (HVC).
Será incluída a descrição do espaço onde o estágio decorreu, bem como os serviços prestados e a casuística referente aos animais acompanhados.
Será também apresentado um caso clínico acompanhado durante o período de estágio.
O estágio foi realizado em contexto de clínica e teve a duração de 622 horas, acompanhando um total de 627 animais, incluindo as áreas de Análises Clínicas, Anestesia e Controlo de dor, Banco de Sangue, Banhos e Tosquias, Cardiologia, Cirurgia Clássica, Cirurgia Minimamente Invasiva, Cuidados Intensivos, Dermatologia, Domicílios, Endoscopia, Fisioterapia, Imagiologia, Doenças Infectocontagiosas, Internamento, Medicina de Exóticos, Medicina Interna, Medicina de Prevenção, Neurologia, Odontologia, Oftalmologia, Oncologia, Ortopedia e Reprodução/Obstetrícia, oferecidas pelo Hospital Veterinário de Coimbra.
Abstract : This report addresses the activities carried out within the scope of the curricular internship of the Veterinary Nursing degree, at the Veterinary Hospital of Coimbra (HVC). A description of the space where the internship took place is included, as well as the services provided and the casuistry regarding the animals accompanied. A clinical case followed during the internship period will be addressed. The internship carried out in a clinical context lasted 622 hours, accompanying a total of 627 animals, including the areas of 24-hour Service, Clinical Analysis, Anesthesia and Pain Control, Blood Bank, Baths and Clippings, Cardiology, Classic Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Intensive Care, Dermatology, Homes, Endoscopy, Physiotherapy, Imaging, Infectious Diseases, Inpatient Care, Exotic Medicine, Internal Medicine, Prevention Medicine, Neurology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Orthopedics and Reproduction/Obstetrics, offered by the Veterinary Hospital of Coimbra.
