Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effect of a therapeutic exercise program on neck pain (NP) and quality of life (QoL) in workers with prolonged computer use. Design: Longitudinal quasi-experimental study with pre- and post-intervention assessments. Participants: Convenience sample of 30 individuals (83.3% female), with a mean age of 45.7±10.37 years, all experiencing NP for at least four weeks. Intervention: Telerehabilitation program consisting of eight sessions (twice a week for four weeks), delivered via Zoom. Sessions included stretching, mobility, and strengthening exercises for the cervical spine, shoulders, and trunk, led by two physiotherapy students. Outcome measures: Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) and WHOQOL-Bref to assess QoL across the physical, psychological, social relationships, and environmental domains. Results: A statistically significant reduction in pain intensity was observed (T0=3.87±2.47; T1=2.00±1.60; p<0.001), exceeding the minimum clinically important difference (1.5 points). Regarding QoL, only Domain 1 (physical health) showed a statistically significant improvement (T0=27.90±4.59; T1=29.57±3.37; p=0.017). No significant changes were found in the other domains or general questions. Conclusion: The short-term online intervention proved effective in reducing neck pain and improving perceived physical health. However, limited effects were observed in other QoL domains, suggesting the need for more comprehensive strategies to achieve broader psychosocial benefits. This study supports the use of remote exercise programs for occupational populations with NP.
