Abstract: This report aims to document the experience acquired during the curricular internship carried out at Softinsa, within the scope of the Internship curricular unit of the Professional Higher Technical Course in Technologies and Programming of Information Systems at the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco. As this stage is an integral part of the course completion process, the internship represented an opportunity to apply, in a real business environment, the knowledge acquired throughout the academic journey. Throughout this period, concepts related to programming, software architecture, databases, web development and collaborative work methodologies were put into practice, facing real challenges similar to those found in the professional market. The internship allowed for a more concrete understanding of the importance of organization, communication and teamwork in the development of technological solutions. During the internship, a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was developed for a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), created with the purpose of supporting companies in the management of assets, maintenance processes and work orders. The project was built using a microservices-based architecture and modern technologies commonly used in professional environments. In addition to implementing technical functionalities, there was also strong involvement in activities related to solution architecture, service integration, security, authentication, software quality and agile methodologies (Scrum). Throughout the project, it was possible to take part in team meetings, task planning, technical reviews and monitoring of the development of the different system functionalities.
