Relatório de esstágio: Comando Sub–Regional de Emergência e Proteção Civil Beira Baixa

Abstract

Durante o tempo que passamos em estágio no Comando Sub-Regional da Beira Baixa, desenvolvi conhecimentos e trabalhei no que foi possível nas diversas áreas que competem a esta entidade dentro da Proteção Civil. Entre as atividades desenvolvidas posso destacar 2 saídas de campo, onde numa realizamos uma ação de sensibilização na unidade “Repouso Hotel - Lar de Idosos” e uma inspeção regular na área de segurança contra incêndios em edifícios no “Instituto Vaz Serra”. No restante período de estágio seguimos o plano que consistia em passarmos pelas diferentes áreas desenvolvidas no Comando Sub-Regional Da Beira Baixa de Emergência e Proteção Civil, como a segurança contra incêndios em edifícios, a compreensão e realização de planos de emergência, a sensibilização a população de medidas de autoproteção, a obtenção de conhecimentos de leis/bases dentro da proteção civil e a sala de comunicações como ela funciona e opera. Abstract: During the internship period at the Beira Baixa Sub-Regional Command, I had the opportunity to develop knowledge and contribute in various areas under the responsibilities of this entity within the scope of Civil Protection. Among the activities carried out, I highlight two field visits: one involved participating in an awareness-raising activity at the “RepousoHotel – Nursing Home,” and the other consisted of a routine inspection related to fire safety in buildings at the “Instituto Vaz Serra.” During the remaining period of the internship, we followed the established plan, which included rotation through the various departments and operational areas of the Beira Baixa Sub-Regional Command for Emergency and Civil Protection. These areas included fire safety in buildings, the understanding and preparation of emergency plans, public awareness campaigns on self-protection measures, the study of laws and civil protection frameworks, and the functioning and operations of the communications room.
