Abstract
Numa perspetiva atual de Portugal, e tendo em conta os últimos anos, temas como escassez e a forte dependência dos combustíveis fósseis, alterações climáticas, aquecimento global, emissão de gases com efeito de estufa, aliados à constante subida do custo de energia, mostram que é cada vez mais, necessário apostar em energias renováveis, como a energia fotovoltaica.
Este projeto tem o propósito de perceber e projetar um sistema que permita efetuar o fornecimento de energia elétrica através de painéis fotovoltaicos para a empresa Movicol.
Inicialmente realizou-se uma investigação acerca da energia fotovoltaica, abordando o princípio de funcionamento, os equipamentos e os diversos sistemas. De seguida foi realizada uma avaliação ao local de instalação, tendo em conta a sua orientação, exposição solar e área disponível para a implantação. Foi apresentado o estudo das necessidades de energia elétrica da empresa a partir das faturas e de dados diários, de modo a obter um mapa anual de consumos médios. Obtendo valores das necessidades energéticas totais, dimensionou-se um sistema fotovoltaico, sendo descrito e analisado no capítulo correspondente. Para terminar, o sistema foi avaliado economicamente, relativamente em termos de custo de instalação e a sua rentabilidade energética futura.
Abstract : From a current perspective of Portugal, and taking into account recent years, issues such as scarcity and strong dependence on fossil fuels, climate change, global warming, emission of greenhouse gases, combined with the constant rise in energy costs, show that It is increasingly necessary to invest in renewable energy, such as photovoltaic energy. This project aims to understand and design a system that allows the supply of electrical energy through photovoltaic panels for the company Movicol. Initially, an investigation was carried out on photovoltaic energy, covering the operating principle, equipment and various systems. An assessment of the installation site was then carried out, taking into account its orientation, sun exposure and area available for implementation. The study of the company's electricity needs was presented based on invoices and daily data, in order to obtain an annual map of average consumption. Obtaining values for the total energy needs, a photovoltaic system was designed and described and analyzed in the corresponding chapter. Finally, the system was economically evaluated, relatively in terms of installation cost and its future energy profitability.
