Relatório de estágio e viabilidade financeira

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio foi elaborado no âmbito da licenciatura de energias renováveis, tendo sido realizado na The Navigator Company, em Vila Velha de Ródão. O estágio consistiu em acompanhar o funcionamento da nova caldeira a biomassa instalada em 2025, cuja aquisição, teve como objetivo a transição para a energia renovável e aumentar a sua eficiência da sua produção de vapor nas máquinas de papel. Um dos aspetos relevantes do estágio foi ter elaborado um estudo de viabilidade financeira do investimento efetuado na aquisição da caldeira de biomassa, além da produção de energia renovável, tem também uma vantagem económica, recuperação do capital investido em pouco tempo. O estágio permitiu desenvolver competências teóricas e praticas na área de energia renovável, adquirindo uma visão dos sistemas de produção de vapor e gestão energética no setor industrial. This internship report was prepared as part of the Renewable Energy degree, carried out at The Navigator Company, in Vila Velha de Ródão. The internship consisted of monitoring the operation of the new biomass boiler, installed in 2025, whose acquisition aimed at the transition to renewable energy and increasing the efficiency of steam production for the paper machines. One of the relevant aspects of the internship was the development of a financial feasibility study of the investment made in the acquisition of the biomass boiler. In addition to renewable energy production, it also has an economic advantage, with the recovery of the invested capital in a short period of time. The internship allowed for the development of theoretical and practical skills in the field of renewable energy, acquiring a vision of steam production systems and energy management in the industrial sector.
