Relatório de estágio : Axis Ofir Beach Resort Hotel

Abstract

presente relatório tem como objetivo descrever o estágio curricular realizado no Hotel Axis Ofir, no âmbito da licenciatura em Turismo na Escola Superior de Gestão de Idanha-a-Nova. O estágio teve a duração de aproximadamente dois meses, com início a 14 de abril e término a 9 de junho, e possibilitou o contacto direto com os principais departamentos operacionais de um hotel: receção, restaurante, limpeza das áreas públicas e economato. Este relatório inclui uma abordagem teórica sobre o setor da hotelaria, a sua evolução ao longo do tempo e os pilares fundamentais que sustentam esta atividade. Além disso, é apresentada uma análise crítica do estágio, destacando os desafios enfrentados e os impactos emocionais decorrentes da experiência. Apesar de reconhecer a importância do estágio para o desenvolvimento profissional, as condições interpessoais e o ambiente organizacional vivenciados não foram favoráveis, refletindo-se negativamente no bem-estar psicológico. A conclusão sumariza os principais pontos abordados e reflete sobre a importância de ambientes saudáveis para a formação eficaz dos estagiários. ABSTRACT: This report aims to provide a detailed description of the curricular internship carried out at the Hotel Axis Ofir, as part of the degree course in Tourism. The internship lasted approximately two months, starting on April 14th and ending on June 9th, and allowed direct contact with the hotel’s main operational areas: front desk, restaurant, public area cleaning, and storeroom. This report includes a theoretical approach to the hospitality sector, its historical development, and the fundamental pillars that support this industry. Additionally, a critical analysis of the internship is presented, highlighting the challenges faced and the emotional impacts resulting from the experience. Although the importance of the internship for professional development is acknowledged, the interpersonal conditions and organizational environment experienced were not favorable, negatively affecting the psychological well-being. The conclusion summarizes the main points discussed and reflects on the importance of healthy environments for the effective training of interns.
