Abstract

Este relatório descreve todo o percurso do estágio curricular realizado na empresa Bool, no contexto da formação prática do Curso Técnico Superior Profissional em Tecnologias e Programação de Sistemas de Informação da Escola Superior de Tecnologia do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco. O objetivo principal do estágio foi desenvolver competências na plataforma OutSystems O11 e aplicá-las num projeto real. Depois de uma fase inicial dedicada à aprendizagem, foi definido o projeto INFOTEC. Este projeto é composto por duas aplicações: uma aplicação web de backoffice para gestão e administração do evento INFOTEC, e uma aplicação móvel para ser utilizada pelos participantes do evento no dia a dia. A aplicação oferece as seguintes funcionalidades: gerir diferentes edições do evento, gerir as atividades e salas disponíveis, registar presenças através de códigos QR e NFC, recolher feedback dos participantes mediante formulários de satisfação e disponibilizar calendários com as atividades. O projeto envolveu uma equipa de três pessoas, tendo sido adotada a metodologia SCRUM para melhor organização do trabalho, com apoio da ferramenta Trello para acompanhamento das tarefas. Após apresentações regulares do progresso, o alcance do projeto foi ajustado e foi entregue um produto mínimo viável (MVP) totalmente funcional.

Abstract: This report describes the entire journey of the curricular internship carried out at the company Bool, in the context of the practical training of the Professional Technical Higher Course in Technologies and Programming of Information Systems at the Higher School of Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco. The main objective of the internship was to develop competencies in the OutSystems O11 platform and apply them in a real project. After an initial phase dedicated to learning, the INFOTEC project was defined. This project comprises two applications: a web backoffice application for managing and administering the INFOTEC event, and a mobile application to be used by event participants in their daily activities. The application offers the following functionalities: manage different editions of the event, manage available activities and rooms, record attendance through QR codes and NFC, gather participant feedback through satisfaction forms, and provide calendars with scheduled activities. The project involved a team of three people, having adopted the SCRUM methodology for better organization of the work, with the support of the Trello tool for task tracking. After regular presentations of progress, the project scope was adjusted and a fully functional minimum viable product (MVP) was delivered.
