Cuidados veterinários em animais de produção

Abstract

Com o presente relatório pretende-se descrever as atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio curricular do curso técnico Superior Profissional de Cuidados Veterinários durante os períodos de 10 de Fevereiro a 23 de Março e de 8 de Junho a 26 de Junho. O estágio curricular foi realizado na Ovibeira, que é a Associação de Produtores de Ovinos do Sul da Beira onde foram realizadas diversas atividades das quais se destacaram a vacinação, desparasitação, identificação animal, colheita de amostras para análise e atualização de passaportes de bovinos. Durante a realização deste estágio curricular foi possível efetuar e acompanhar 3522 animais dos quais 2327 ovinos, 1070 bovinos e 125 caprinos adquirindo assim conhecimentos no âmbito de cuidados veterinários a animais de produção. The purpose of this report is to describe the activities developed during the curricular internship of the Superior Professional Course in Veterinary Care during the periods from 10 February to 23 March and from 8 June to 26 June. The curricular internship was carried out at Ovibeira, which is the Association of Sheep Producers in the South of Beira, where various activities were carried out, including vaccination, deworming, animal identification, collection of samples for analysis and updating of passports for cattle. During the accomplishment of this curricular internship, it was possible to carry out and monitor 3522 animals, of which 2327 sheep, 1070 cattle and 125 goats, thus acquiring knowledge in the field of veterinary care for farm animals.
